Advance orders are already coming in for a new book about the (in)famous fashion show that closes out Glass Art Society conferences with an often breathtaking, sometimes risque, and always surprising parade of wearable art. To remember the 2009 glass fashion strut that brought down the house at the Corning Museum of Glass auditorium on June 13, 2009, Laura Donefer, the organizer and driving force behind eight fashion shows since 1989, is offering a 100-page coffeetable photo book printed in full color that comes with a special bonus DVD of the full 2009 performance, officially titled Laura Donefer’s GLASS FASHION EXTRAVAGANZA!

The price is still to be determined, but preorders are being taken now by email or telephone: 613-372-0377.

The GLASS Quarterly Hot Sheet proudly presents an exclusive sneak preview of the book’s studio, backstage, and show photographs in the gallery below.
